Paul P. Hospodar, M.D.

Dr. Hospodar's area of orthopaedic interest is fracture care, sports injuries, and joint replacement surgery.

Dr. Hospodar actively pursues the mission of Capital Region Orthopaedics by providing his expertise as an Associate Professor at Albany Medical College. He also provides training to others within the medical community. Dr. Hospodar has written many papers and articles that have been published in the Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma, Journal of Arthroscopy, and many other professional publications.

Dr. Hospodar is certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a diplomat with the National Board of Medical Examiners.

He received his medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine. His post-graduate work included a residency at the University Hospital, Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He also completed his internship at the Hershey Medical Center. Dr. Hospodar was Michael & Myrtle Baker Research Fellow of the University Hospital, Division of Orthopaedic Surgery. Further fellowship work brought Dr. Hospodar to Methodist Hospital of Indiana working in the orthopaedic traumatology department. Hospodar joined Albany Medical Center in 1994 and later came to Capital Region Orthopaedics in 1999.

Dr. Hospodar sees patients at the Albany, and Guilderland offices.
