As an Albany native, Dr. Mulligan has deep roots within the Capital Region. He obtained his undergraduate and medical degrees through the combined medical education program at Union College and Albany Medical College. He then completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Albany Medical Center and received his fellowship training in hand and microvascular surgery at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Mulligan is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a candidate member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. Dr. Mulligan serves as an assistant professor at Albany Medical College and is affiliated with Albany Medical Center, St. Peter's Hospital, Albany Memorial Hospital and the Capital Region Ambulatory Surgery Center.
